Features

Everything you need in a light meter app

No subscriptions. No ads. Just a reliable tool that works every time you raise your camera.

01

Three Metering Modes

Switch between Average, Center-Weighted, and Spot metering in one tap. In Spot mode, simply tap anywhere on the screen to meter exactly where you need — no guesswork, just the data you need to make the right exposure decision.

02

Spot Meter Anywhere

In Spot mode, tap any point on the live view to meter precisely at that exact location. No matter how complex the light, you can isolate the reading for the subject that matters — total control, one tap.

03

Monochrome Preview

See the scene in black and white before you commit. Previsualize how colors separate into tones, so you know how the frame will read on B&W film — with the live histogram right there to confirm it.

04

Exposure Slide Rule

The built-in slide rule shows aperture and shutter speed combinations side by side — all equivalent exposures for the current EV, so you can find the right settings in seconds and pick the one that suits your creative intent.

05

Fine Compensation & Focal Length

Dial in exposure compensation with an intuitive slider — in steps as fine as 0.1 EV, or switch to 0.2, 0.3 or 0.5 EV to match how you work. The zoom control reports the equivalent focal length in mm, so you can match the manual lens on your camera and meter for the frame you will actually shoot.

Lock Your Exposure

Lock the screen and take your time — compose your shot and consider your exposure without rushing. Exposir acts as a second viewfinder, giving you the freedom to think before you shoot. The red lock icon keeps you in control.

Long Exposure Mode

Planning a long exposure? Exposir calculates the correct shutter speed for any ND filter from ND2 to ND1000, then counts down with a built-in timer — complete with pause, resume, and a notification when your exposure is done.
